WOMENIN

Description

The main objective of the project WOMENIN is to educate women entrepreneurs to make them have the same opportunities that men when to enterprising. A clarifying example of the difference in treatment when it comes to entrepreneurship is internationalisation, an aspect we deal with in our educational system. Internationalisation is a relevant step both for the entrepreneur and for the national and European economy. And if we analyse the numbers and the challenges, we see that women have a lot of difficulties when it comes to internationalising their businesses. With the materials we want to create a fairer market and entrepreneurship so that men and women are on equal terms. Gender perspective entrepreneurship education helps the whole European society, and that is one of the main reasons why this project should be founded. As well, this project will help many women to become entrepreneurs and, consequently, to achieve a more prosperous and equal European economy.

Objectives

WOMENIN aims to promote entrepreneurship among entrepreneur women. In addition, as specific objectives we want to identify the challenges faced by entrepreneur women, we will promote the global vision of the internationalisation of entrepreneur women in Europe, we will promote digital entrepreneurship and we will facilitate the interconnection of entrepreneur women through digitalisation.

More specifically, the project aims to:

  • Present national gender equality strategies to promote equal representation of women and men in political decision making.
  • Examine the correlation between these strategies and voter behaviour in relation to gender equality.
  • Develop national strategies to promote equality between women and men in political decision-making.
  • Cooperate with local political parties, national authorities involved in gender equality to implement the findings of the study and integrate them into national policies, using platforms such as public dialogues, conferences and roundtables.
