WEM

WEM – Women Entrepreneurship Mentality

Description

WEM is a strategic partnership that aims to promote entrepreneurship in vulnerable women, especially migrant and refugee women in the three countries where the project will be implemented. The project proposes the creation of personalized socio-labour insertion itineraries through training and advice for migrant and refugee women who want to get out of risk or situation of social exclusion, through the acquisition of entrepreneurial skills and the creation of selfemployment.
This itinerary introduces an innovative component that improves financial health and family finances.Financial health improvement tools will be incorporated to help women starting-up their business with healthy family finances, improving their social and financial inclusion. Likewise, it is planned to improve the entrepreneurial skills of professionals working with this group so that they can guide users in the start-up of a business, through the itinerary of training and advice. During the implementation of the project, work will be aimed at achieving skills for women and immigration professionals, as well as for women with fewer opportunities.

Objectives

The objectives of the project are to: a) improve the entrepreneurial and financial skills of Adult Education Providers (AEP) so that they support women at risk of exclusion, especially migrant/refugee women, for the start-up of a business, b) increase the business skills of vulnerable women, especially migrant/refugee women, to create sustainable economic initiatives, and c) raise awareness and foster the entrepreneurial spirit of this collective.
