Educating youth on food security and reduction of food waste for a sustainable lifestyle. The project proposes an innovative educational program about sustainable choices of life, consumption of safe food, reduction of food waste.
The project aims at raising awareness on youth, future generations, about environmental and climate-change challenges as well as on the importance of healthy dietary habits. Main objectives of SAVING are to develop key competences of youth workers and other personnel who support disadvantaged young people at risk of exclusion, in the field of food security and zero food waste and to promote awareness of the importance of the role that each individual can take towards becoming food secure.
