Description

With the world becoming more and more reliant on digital technologies, the goal of the Digital Upbringing project is to enhance the digital skills and knowledge of parents across Europe. Education has a key role to play in supporting the Digital Transformation of European cities and rural communities. This project has been designed to respond to the specific needs of families and the wider community.

Objectives

  1. to develop and implement an education project supporting parents, subsequently their children and educators to develop the digital competences needed to safely navigate the digital world
  2. to provide digital parenting courses and workshops
  3. to establish parent support groups and professional partnerships
  4. to host integrational digital learning events
  5. to implement a media campaign to provide informal learning for families
