Migration issues are increasingly prominent in global politics, with the growing migrant population becoming integral to European societies. Refugees and non-EU migrants already face significant risks, and those who are LGBTQI+ experience even greater vulnerabilities. Addressing the unique challenges faced by LGBTQI+ refugees and migrants is crucial for their integration, particularly in countries with large migrant populations within the EU.
Aligned with the EU’s values of integration and inclusion, the @NCLUSION consortium seeks to enhance awareness and support for LGBTQI+ migrants by effectively implementing the EU Charter of Fundamental Rights.
Inclusion aims to increase the effectiveness of the inclusion of LGBTQI+ migrants at local level, persons in Cyprus, Germany, Greece, Italy, Poland & Spain, by implementing local integration strategies and measures, that promote LGBTQI+ migrants and refugees’ inclusion, based on the cooperation and coordination among local authorities, LGBTQI+ organisations and migrants’ organisations and other CSOs supporting the rights of migrants and LGBTQI+ persons.
