The B-VET project aims to improve the quality and responsiveness of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) in Uganda’s Northern and West-Nile regions by addressing systemic challenges such as limited resources and outdated infrastructure. Developed through collaboration between Ugandan institutions and European partners from Greece, Cyprus, and Spain, the 36-month initiative focuses on aligning vocational education—particularly in the agricultural sector—with labor market needs. Key outcomes include a Training Manual, Online Courses, Transnational Learning Activities, and a Virtual Learning Hub, all available in partner languages to ensure broad applicability. The project promotes EU–Uganda cooperation through capacity-building and policy recommendations for sustainable development in the VET sector.
