Greek for Me – Greek Language Courses for Adult Third Country Nationals

Description

The project Greek for Me – Greek Language Courses for Adult Nationals of Third Countries is an 18-month project (01/07/2024-31/12/2025) co-funded by the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund and the Republic of Cyprus , which offers Greek language courses to adult Third Country Nationals legally residing in the Republic of Cyprus. The courses are specifically designed based on the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) and the needs of the target group.
The training programme will be implemented in all provinces of the Republic of Cyprus through the network of the State Training Institutes and at the Reception and Accommodation Centre for Applicants for International Protection in Kofinou.
In the framework of the project, the development of digital tools (Interactive Online Learning Platform and Educational Mobile Application) is foreseen.

Objectives

The main aim of the project is the acquisition and/or improvement of oral and written comprehension and expression in Greek, with the ultimate goal of obtaining a Certificate of Attainment in Greek.
