DIYfuture

DIYfuture

Description

DIYfuture aims to teach young people DIY skills to increase the lifetime of products and sustainable consumption. At the same time, the project will teach young people the basics of entrepreneurship. The project aspires to fill the gap between the need for a circular economy and the current reality where goods are over-consumed. Through a combination of e-lectures, DIY projects and a case study of a self-made product, the project aims to empower young people to start their own DIY projects or businesses.

Objectives

  • To improve young people’s manual skills and their ability to repair, recycle and upgrade products,
  • To boost their entrepreneurial skills
  • To empower young people to develop their own products and businesses,
  • To revitalise the culture of repair and recycling, thereby increasing sustainability in our society.

Consortium

  • OOZ Maribor – Regional Chamber of Craft and Small Business Maribor, Slovenia
